香港第二輪春拍近在眉睫，早前介紹過Phillips（富藝斯）夜拍幾幅矚目畫作，出自三位中國當代藝術「光頭旗手」之手。話鋒一轉，兩位來自美國的藝術家畫作同樣奪目：一位是被視為畢加索傳人的康多 （George Condo），另一位則是牽引潮流的街頭藝術家KAWS。兩人風格迥異，創作卻同樣充滿對現實的挑釁意味。
康多
第一幅是康多的《作家》，估價HK$200萬 - 300萬。肖像畫是康多所長，深受畢加索影響，畫作本已不斷挑戰學院派寫實及理性風格。這幅《作家》更是火力全開，場景、姿勢突破傳統，身體部位的誇張描繪更是顛覆想像，挑戰現實中社會身份的刻板印象。
同場另一幅《黑色站姿人物》，估價HK$650萬 - 850萬。畫中人群形象特徵扭曲、分離同時又混和。在作品朦朧迷幻的旋渦中，是意指獨立自我在群體中的喪失，還是暗示着人的無限可能性？
KAWS
KAWS由街頭塗鴉起為人熟知，在不同廣告海報上塗上他招牌的「X X」圖案，將商業味道厚重的現實重塑成嬉皮玩世。這場夜拍中有兩件雕塑及一幅畫作上拍。
此畫《無題》，2009年創作，估價HK$200萬 - 300萬。拍品重新詮釋風靡全球的卡通人物，活力正面性格被KAWS褪去：毫無笑容、覆滿紅色，再加上招牌符號。最熟悉的人物轉化成最矛盾的形象，KAWS也許就是以此不協調感挑戰對現實的認知。
《第二系列編號10》
康多的《黑色站姿人物》估價為這場次中第二高，與月前介紹，方力鈞的《第二系列編號10》不相伯仲，最終槌價哪邊更為驚喜，不妨拭目以待這另類的「中美角力」。
是次重點拍品將於明天起一連四日在中環H Queen's展出，至5月27日晚上6時於中環文華東方酒店拍賣。
