西方古典畫作今周在倫敦大賣。繼佳士得後，蘇富比亦交出漂亮成績。古典油畫夜拍交出86%高成交率，全晚斬獲£3,020萬。此場焦點落在£948萬（HK$9,430萬；NT$3.7億）成交的《祈禱中的基督》上，畫作上面竟然暗藏肖像大師林布蘭（Rembrandt，1606-1669）的指紋。

畫作全名為《雙手交叉的年輕男子頭像習作，祈禱中的基督》。在林布蘭筆下，基督不再是拜占庭式的救贖者，而是有血有肉的凡人。畫中男子沉浸於祈禱當中，私密而動人的時刻提醒藝術家：基督是神，但亦生而為人。
此畫可能是一幅敘事油畫或版畫的預備習作，場景應該是《聖經》中耶穌基督在客西馬尼園向天父禱告的情節。它屬於一組七幅相類的油彩素描，每幅尺寸幾乎相同，皆繪於橡木板上，現藏於世界各地的博物館之中。

畫作符合大家對林布蘭繪畫方式的理解：一氣呵成，落筆迅速，調整修改時顏料仍然濕潤。專業修復師畫上發現指紋（上圖），相信屬於畫家本人，分佈在畫板底部邊角的原顏料層上，進一步證明作品完成速度之快。
據記錄，油畫最後一次公開露面是1956年，在瑞典首都斯德哥爾摩展出。此後，畫作在市場上銷聲匿跡半世紀之久，直到2011年再現人間。今次拍賣以£820萬落槌，超過估價範圍，連佣£948萬成交。

本場另有一幅畫作，小編特別想談一下 - £262萬（HK$2,600萬；N$1億）成交的《威爾斯親王查理二世肖像》。查理二世（Charles II，1630-1685）當時只有11歲，尚未登基成為英王，故身份是威爾斯親王。
查理二世年少悽慘，18歲時父親查理一世在內戰中失敗而亡，20歲加冕登基後隨即要逃到國外，顛沛流離。近10年流亡生涯中，他飽嘗憂患，故復位後來個「及時行樂」，不但重新開放娛樂場所，讓妓院、酒館、馬場、戲院恢復昔日喧囂，本人也經常尋花問柳，遂有「快活王」之稱。
回國復位的查理二世，小編尤其喜歡他的髮型
此畫繪畫之時，小查理只有11歲，未懂憂患，又怎料到人生會如此大起大落，又怎想到數百年後，自己會成為一個傳奇，被後代國民選為最偉大君主之一。
