Rossi & Rossi Ltd was founded in London in 1985 by Anna Maria Rossi who has more than 40 years experience in the field. In 1988 Anna Maria was joined by her son Fabio and together they have established a world-wide reputation as leading dealers in antique works in the field of Indian, Himalayan and South East Asian Art. Rossi & Rossi’s clients include distinguished private collectors as well as many major museums worldwide among them the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, the Tokyo National Museum, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney. Since 2005, Rossi & Rossi has regularly held exhibitions of Asian contemporary artists, with a particular focus on Tibet. These cutting-edge exhibitions have received critical acclaim and have resulted in the gallery having an instrumental role in the development of major and ground-breaking museum shows including Tradition Transformed at the Rubin Museum of Art, New York, and Anonymous at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at the State University of New York at New Paltz, the Fleming Museum of Art at the University of Vermont, and the Queens Museum, New York.
